We are pleased to announce entries for the 2023 Marlow Half Marathon, The Frankenstein and Marlow 7 on the 5th November are now open!
This year we have exciting news – it is the 35th running of the Marlow Half Marathon and we are also launching a new race named “The Frankenstein” – a multi-terrain event, approximately 10km with one third on road and two thirds on trails – named in honour of Mary Shelley’s novel “Frankenstein” which she completed whilst living in Marlow. We will also be running the ever-popular Marlow 7.

About our races
Our race village location at Marlow Sports Club brings to you an enhanced race start experience in Marlow Town centre with great crowd support as you run up the High Street on the start of your journey. Starting at 9:30am, the 3 races offer mile upon mile of good running on virtually traffic-free country lanes. Whether you choose the Half Marathon or the 7 miler, you will love our choice of route. Yes, the Chiltern Hills are challenging, yet the unfolding charm of this area of outstanding natural beauty will inspire you to run your best.
In addition to our established and ever popular Marlow Half Marathon, we will of course run our favourite Marlow 7 mile race again. Ideal if you’re not quite ready for the challenge of the half. The distance may be less, but make no mistake, you’ll be running in the same testing although rewarding landscape that has made the Marlow Half Marathon a classic.
